Up, Down, Charm, Strange, Top and Bottom

My MVP culinary discover here so far is called quark. It’s basically yogurt, but it’s got three times the protein and half the jiggle.

The unflavored kind is essentially a cooking product, so I feel like a felony-grade foreigner eating it out of the package (with nuts and berries. I’m not a fucking Spartan) every morning.

By all appearances, it’s a fucking superfood. Way healthy, tastes good, bought cheap. Besides conjuring images of a lonely, obese teenager by eating it straight out of the package, I can’t see any reason to stop.

In Austria, Quark is called “Topfen”, in case you visit and can´t find any. I am now inspired to try it the way you did. Sometimes you need the foreign eye to appreciate the superfoods sitting right in front of you.
